Stampex is over for 2013 and F&C had an excellent four days last week.
Our displays were really first class and full of interest, the volunteers who manned our table answered queries, sold publications and signed-up new members.
Lunch on Saturday was most enjoyable and Peter Kelly's afternoon talk very interesting and informative - it was unfortunate that some of the audience missed Peter's second half when they had to go away to collect their display material.
I attended the event on Friday and Saturday and the slickness of Mick Bister's organisation ensured that the F&C presence worked perfectly; it was a year in the organising and an awful lot of time and effort paid off over the four days.
Ashley's lunch arrangements for Saturday worked perfectly.
In all a most enjoyable event which gave our Society great publicity.
Our thanks to everyone involved - all the work is very much appreciated by we members.
I cannot end without a mention for Maurice's absolutely top class journal issue relating to the displays - it was excellent.
