Build upon what has worked

I have only been to the last two recent Annual Meetings and left inspired and energised from both. I like the idea of making the 50th meeting in 2026 special. In doing so, however, I am struck by the importance of what has obviously worked well before, such as the high quality philatelic presentations during the day, and the less structured 'anything goes' in the evenings when an incredible variety of different high quality material has also been shown. So it would be nice to hear ideas that add to these, perhaps ones that have been used before and faded from memory during the last 49 years?  Also, on a more personal note, how we ensure that our recent influx of new members are motivated to attend, and to display; especially if there are any like me, relatively new to collecting France & Colonies, and still learning how to curate rather limited material, and therefore feeling a littler daunted?
